The memorial reflects as a mirror reflects, so that when you find the name you're searching for you find it in your own reflection. And as you touch it, from certain angles, you're touching, too, the reflection of the Washington Monument or the chair in which great Abe Lincoln sits.

As sole and exclusive licensee of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund for Healing Wall Plaques, The Healing Wall is proud to be able to offer you a memento of this world-famous tribute that has been able to bring some peace of mind and a sense of closure to the many millions who have visited it. Not everyone can make the trip to Washington D.C., but now your relative or friend’s place on the Wall can come home to you.
Paper rubbings have long been eagerly sought by those with loved ones’ names on the Wall. Our plaques are cut from granite from the same region in Bangalore, India as the Wall itself and engraved in the same size and style as the letters on the Wall. Mounted on your choice of a matching granite or beautifully polished teak base, with a brass plate for additional information, they’re like having a piece of the memorial itself as your own.
